Legal Data Analyst

The team at Aptus.AI develops next-generation technologies that revolutionize how people access legal documents by changing how humans and machines interact with regulations.

Our RegTech product Daitomic monitors and analyzes thousands of legal sources in real-time to help financial companies keep up with the ever-growing regulatory changes and updates.

That is why we are looking for a skilled Legal Data Analyst to join our team. As a Legal Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing different kinds of regulations, as well as overseeing our regulatory alerting service. Your expertise in legal data analysis will assist us in enhancing our Artificial Intelligence models, with the goal of ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering timely insights to our clients.

• Part-time contract or freelancing with VAT

Responsibilities:

• Supervise our regulatory alerting service, ensuring that clients are informed of any regulatory changes that may impact their business
• Conduct legal analysis activities, including reviewing laws and regulations, monitoring legal trends, and analyzing legal data in order to generate insights for the development of new AI features for our product
• Identify and tag different regulatory areas and domains, which are relevant to our clients

Minimum qualifications:

• Law degree, legal studies, or a related field
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal data analysis, regulatory compliance, or related fields
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with legal research tools and databases
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders
• Familiarity with computer basics

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with soft-laws and regulatory frameworks in various jurisdictions
• Experience with project management
