Product Owner

The team at Aptus.AI develops next-generation technologies that revolutionize how people access legal documents by changing how humans and machines interact with regulations. This goal can be reached only by a passionate team with multidisciplinary skills, an open-minded attitude, creative and capable of adapting.

Our RegTech product Daitomic monitors and analyzes thousands of legal sources in real-time to help financial companies keep up with the ever-growing regulatory changes and updates. This system needs to handle information at a massive scale and make it suitable for human decision-making.

That's why we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and execution of our product roadmap. As the Product Owner, you will work closely with our engineering, design and sales teams to define, prioritize, and deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backlog, ensuring that it aligns with the company’s strategic mission, vision and OKRs
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring that customer needs and market trends are reflected in the product roadmap
• Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications that clearly define product features and functionality
• Collaborate with design, engineering teams and product manager to ensure that products are developed in a timely and high-quality manner
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to ensure that the team is aligned on goals, progress, and challenges
• Monitor product performance and KPIs, and use data to inform product strategy and decision-making
• Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders across the organization

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Computer Science)
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role
• Strong understanding of product management principles, processes, and tools (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Jira)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently
• Analytical mindset and ability to use data to inform decision-making

Nice to have:

• Passion for AI, Machine Learning, NLP and similar will be considered as a plus!
• Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus
