Presenting an event like the Lisbon Web Summit is very easy. Suffice it to use the definitions of this event given by world famous magazines like Forbes - “The event that bridges the gap between creativity and technology” - or the Financial Times - “The best of Silicon Valley and European technology”. But that's not all. The home page of the Web Summit's official website shows all the most authoritative mentions received from the world press. A few more examples? “The giants of the web assemblee” (Wall Street Journal), “The world's best speakers” (Inc.) and so on. In short, an event in which we at Aptus.AI are happy and proud to take part again, for the second consecutive time with our own stand in the startup area, after Web Summit 2021.
As we saw a few lines ago, the Web Summit is portrayed in the press as the “Europe's largest tech event” (Reuters), since it is, in fact, the largest and best-organized meeting and discussion opportunity for the global technology industry. This is true for both large established companies and fast-growing startups, which, just like us at Aptus.AI, take part in the event with the goal of meeting new investors and partners, but also to stay up-to-date on the very latest technologies, compare themselves with the global ecosystem of startups and position themselves on a brand level through press contacts and social presence. The Web Summit 2022, in addition to the expectations that the event brings with it every year, will certainly be exciting, as it will be the return to normalcy edition after the Covid-19 pandemic. Certainly the virus still exists and forces us to be very cautious, but, after the virtual-only edition in 2020 and the live return in 2021, this year is expected to be a Web Summit at its fullest potential in terms of attendance, interactions and meeting possibilities. These are the peculiarities that characterize this event even from 2009, the year of the first conference, formed by a small group of bloggers, journalists and technology experts gathered in a Dublin hotel. Today, 13 years later, the Web Summit company organizes events around the world (the Web Summit in Lisbon and Tokyo, the Collision in Toronto and the RISE in Hong Kong), inviting founders and C-levels of tech companies and startups, as well as lawmakers and heads of state, all together to ask the fundamental question “where are we going?”. Specifically, the 2022 edition will bring together more than 900 guests from the most important realities at the moment, more than 1.000 investors and 2.000 startups, as well as sports and entertainment personalities. Politicians, journalists, experts, athletes, artists, entrepreneurs - and many more. Perhaps, however, the best way to introduce Web Summit 2022 is precisely the striking teaser video made by the organizers themselves.
Attending the Web Summit, for a company like ours, is almost mandatory. And even doing that with our own stand, where we can welcome people interested in the work we do and tell them about Aptus.AI, is an opportunity not to be missed. That's the main reason why, even in 2022, we will be exhibiting at the Web Summit. But also to stay up-to-date on what's going on around us. Yes, because we also need to constantly follow the landscape of Artificial Intelligence technologies and, more specifically, those applied to RegTech, the sector we have focused on with our solution Daitomic, designed for financial compliance. In our growth path, the 2022 edition of the Web Summit is also a unique opportunity to introduce the product to potential investors or partners, to receive feedback on the platform and to gather ideas and insights to improve it. Those who follow us certainly know what Daitomic is, but briefly, we would like to introduce it again in this post for anyone who might be interested in talking about it in person at the Web Summit. Daitomic is a SaaS designed for the RegTech market, developed through the integration of state-of-the-art AI technologies and a homogeneous legal standard, capable of transforming banking regulations into an electronic and machine readable format. This proprietary technology enables many features, like customized regulatory alerts, automatic real-time updates, optimized impact analysis and also regulatory trends recognition. All of these functions are designed to allow compliance specialists to make faster and more accurate decisions in the complex and ever-changing environment of financial regulations. And we're ready to show them off to anyone interested right at the Web Summit, where we'll be available at our stand for three days. Here below you can find the details.
We look forward to meeting anyone who wants to learn more about Aptus.AI and especially about Daitomic, our Artificial Intelligence platform designed for the RegTech market. See you in Lisbon!
