Web Summit 2022: Aptus.AI is exhibiting in Lisbon again!

Once again exhibitors at the “Best technology conference on the planet”

Presenting an event like the Lisbon Web Summit is very easy. Suffice it to use the definitions of this event given by world famous magazines like Forbes - “The event that bridges the gap between creativity and technology” - or the Financial Times - “The best of Silicon Valley and European technology”. But that's not all. The home page of the Web Summit's official website shows all the most authoritative mentions received from the world press. A few more examples? “The giants of the web assemblee” (Wall Street Journal), “The world's best speakers” (Inc.) and so on. In short, an event in which we at Aptus.AI are happy and proud to take part again, for the second consecutive time with our own stand in the startup area, after Web Summit 2021.

Discovering the Web Summit: from its origins to the 2022 edition

As we saw a few lines ago, the Web Summit is portrayed in the press as the “Europe's largest tech event” (Reuters), since it is, in fact, the largest and best-organized meeting and discussion opportunity for the global technology industry. This is true for both large established companies and fast-growing startups, which, just like us at Aptus.AI, take part in the event with the goal of meeting new investors and partners, but also to stay up-to-date on the very latest technologies, compare themselves with the global ecosystem of startups and position themselves on a brand level through press contacts and social presence. The Web Summit 2022, in addition to the expectations that the event brings with it every year, will certainly be exciting, as it will be the return to normalcy edition after the Covid-19 pandemic. Certainly the virus still exists and forces us to be very cautious, but, after the virtual-only edition in 2020 and the live return in 2021, this year is expected to be a Web Summit at its fullest potential in terms of attendance, interactions and meeting possibilities. These are the peculiarities that characterize this event even from 2009, the year of the first conference, formed by a small group of bloggers, journalists and technology experts gathered in a Dublin hotel. Today, 13 years later, the Web Summit company organizes events around the world (the Web Summit in Lisbon and Tokyo, the Collision in Toronto and the RISE in Hong Kong), inviting founders and C-levels of tech companies and startups, as well as lawmakers and heads of state, all together to ask the fundamental question “where are we going?”. Specifically, the 2022 edition will bring together more than 900 guests from the most important realities at the moment, more than 1.000 investors and 2.000 startups, as well as sports and entertainment personalities.
